GLOBAL CHEMICAL TRADERS

Petrochemicals are chemicals obtained from petroleum by oil refining. Some petroleum-derived chemicals are also obtained from other fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas, or from renewable sources such as corn, palm fruit or sugar cane.

GLYCOLS (ETHYLENE)

Ethylene glycols is the raw material as polyethylene resin, fiber, film, automobile coolant solution, refrigerant, acetaldehyde, and is used as explosive plasticizer, polyester resin, polyurethane intermediary, glue, gelatine, cork, cigarettes, moisturizing agent and plasticizer for cosmetics, cellulose film, synthetic resin and emulsifier.

GLYCOLS (ETHER)

Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether is widely used in water-based paint solvents, and also solvents of nitrocellulose, alkyd resin and phenolic resin modified by maleic anhydride, anti-fogging, wrinkle resistant and improves the gloss and fluidity of coating, it is also used as a metal cleaning agent, paint remover, lubricant remover, automobile engine cleaning agent, dry cleaning solvent, epoxy solvent and pesticide dispersant.

PLASTICIZER

Plasticizers are additives that increase the plasticity or fluidity of the material to which they are added; plastics, cement, concrete, gypsum board and clay. Also used for leather, chairs, PVC films, electrical cables, plastic products and paint, automotive leathers, composites and pastes, electrical resistance cables.

ACRYLATE

Acrylate is used as a raw material for adhesives, coatings, plastics and emulsions.

SOLVENT

Produced on a large scale in industry as solvents, polymer precursors and pharmaceutical products. Used as a solvent for inks, coatings, adhesives and nitrocellulose. Also used as an extraction agent in the dewaxing/de-oiling of petroleum products and in pharmaceuticals.

OTHER APPLICATIONS

It is used in the manufacture of bottles and synthetic resin.
